® loader can seamlessly switch between different products and different packaging arrangements with a simple touchscreen push-button changeover.
Changing from one size or type of container (basket, case, pallet, carton or tray) to another is simple as well, with easy changes to conveyor guides and selections on the user interface.
How Does it work?
A proven, reliable, repeatable sequence is vital when you are considering an automated loader for your facility. The typical operation of an Omni-Pak ®follows these steps:
- An empty container is delivered to the Omni-Pak® on quality Stewart Systems conveyors and located for loading.
- Packaged product enters on a product conveyor where it is accumulated for pickup.
- The robotic arm moves the custom designed end effector over the conveyor.
- Vacuum is activated and the end effector picks up the product.
- Product picking continues, with the end effector re-positioning to pick an entire layer of product to place into the container.
- When a full layer of product is on the end effector, containment flaps come down to insure the product will fit within the container.
- The loader then places the product into the carrier.
- The process repeats until the container is full.
All systems use Stewart’s proven vacuum based end effector and our user-friendly operator interface. Each unit features our custom designed end of arm tooling, engineered with CAD/ CAM accuracy.
The Omni-Pak ® is industry proven has successfully handled packaged and raw product of varying weights and sizes. The
Omni-Pak ® is factory tested for trouble free installation and performance.
