The pattern former automates one of the most labor intensive tasks in your facility. It fills trays and baskets with packaged product, and delivers them to your distribution system. The pattern former gently, effectively and reliably arranges your products in a pattern of your selection. Numerous patterns are pre-programmed to your exact specifications at time of delivery, and new patterns can be created, or old patterns changed, through an easy "machine training" touch screen user interface.
Once a pattern is selected, operation is fully automatic. Packaged products are grouped and counted while conveyed into the Pattern Former. Once products are inside, a patented Vacuum Turnable and Push Blades arrange them into perfect patterns, over and over, again and again. Finished patterns are gently pushed to the basket or tray, as the air table reverses flow and a gentle air cushion floats it, friction free, into the tray or basket required by the pattern. This feature is an industry first, and only offered by Stewart. Product filled trays or baskets are then automatically conveyed to basket stackers or your distribution area for further processing thanks to Stewart Systems's advanced conveyor designs.
The Pattern Former will continue to meet the production and variety needs of your enterprise as they change through the years. Its versatality, simplicity and ease of use, maintenance and service will ensure that you depend on the stewart Systems Pattern Former for the future of your operation.
